Ad Networks integrations
In order to monitor paid traffic received from a given ad platform, the following set-up must be enforced within the ad platform:
- tracking of the click ID must be enforced
- tracking parameters should be appended to the ads' target URLs
The following table provides the list of default URL tracking parameters used by DataDome. If other tracking parameters are already set, they can be used instead of DataDome standard ones. Specific instructions for the main ad platforms are provided below.

ddkw | Search keyword | Search keyword |
ddpl | Placement | Content site where the ad is clicked |
dddv | Device type | Whether the ad is clicked from a desktop, mobile or tablet |
ddnw | Network | The network where the click comes from |
ddag | Ad Group ID | Unique identifier of the ad group |
ddmt | Match type | Type of the match against the keyword (exact, phrase, broad...) |
