Configuration limitations
The edge integration for Arc XP only supports site settings.

Prerequisites

This article assumes that the user has:

Access to the Arc XP Platform with Site Manager permission
Arc XP Edge enabled (if not, contact your Technical Account Manager at Arc XP)
The server-side key available in the DataDome dashboard

Installation

Connect to Arc XP's Admin Portal
Navigate to Delivery and Site Settings
Select the site you want to enable the integration for
Open the Edge Integrations tab
Complete the following actions:
- Switch the DataDome toggle on
- Enter your server-side key on DataDome License Key
Click Save

You are now protected by DataDome Bot & Fraud Protection.

Configuration

Traffic exclusion

You can configure Arc XP to exclude certain requests from being processed by DataDome based on route definitions.

Follow their documentation to configure your exclusions.

Timeout

If the default timeout value configured on Arc XP is causing issues, you can modify it.

The timeout configuration defines how many milliseconds the integration can wait for a response from the Bot Protect API before timing out and skipping the detection.
