Trust and Monetization Partners

DataDome integrates out of the box with Agentic Trust partners to support third-party identity verification and monetization services.

You can activate and manage partners from Agentic Trust > Partners in the DataDome Dashboard.

Trust Authority Partners

Third-party trust authorities provide cryptographic signatures that certify the identity of the AI agent sending HTTP requests. These signatures may be associated with tokens used in business workflows such as e-commerce transactions, payments, or resource discovery.

When you activate a trust authority partner, DataDome verifies the partner's cryptographic signatures and uses the partner's AI agent registry to identify the source of agentic traffic with high trust.

Traffic information and observability

DataDome records the agent identification information and verification result with the associated traffic. You can use these fields to investigate requests, create filters, and analyze traffic from specific AI agents or trust authorities.

FieldDescription
trustauthorityagentidThe unique identifier of the AI agent provided by the trust authority.
trustauthorityagentNameThe name of the AI agent provided by the trust authority.
trustauthorityThe trust authority associated with the AI agent.
trustauthorityverificationstatusThe result of the cryptographic signature verification process.

Monetization Partners

Monetization partners provide services for measuring, controlling, and billing AI agent access to published resources.

These services typically require a dedicated integration that operates independently from DataDome. DataDome identifies and controls agentic traffic, then routes eligible requests to the selected monetization partner when required by your configured policy.

After activating a monetization partner, use the Monetize response policy in Agentic Trust > Access Control to define which agents and traffic contexts should be handled by the partner's monetization service. Monetize converts eligible AI agent and LLM requests into revenue events through the connected monetization partner.

Once you configure your access control policies, DataDome analyzes each incoming request using its standard detection capabilities. It classifies the request, for example as a bot or LLM agent, and evaluates it against the relevant detection model.

When a request matches a model configured with the Monetize response policy, DataDome invokes the selected partner's monetization workflow. Detection and traffic classification remain authoritative within DataDome, while the partner handles the revenue-related treatment of eligible bot and LLM traffic.

Monetize response behavior

Each partner has its own monetization logic and reporting capabilities. DataDome applies the Monetize response and transfers control to the selected partner's monetization workflow.

See the documentation for the relevant partner for more information.

Monetization FAQ

  • Does Monetize replace blocking and challenges for a model?

    • Yes. For bot and LLM models configured with the Monetize response policy, DataDome hands the request to the selected partner. The partner then enforces access and manages account validation and billing.

Traffic that does not match a model configured with Monetize continues to follow your configured Block, Challenge, or Allow response policies.

  • Can I use multiple monetization partners?

    • Not within a single workspace.

Each workspace can be connected to only one active monetization partner at a time. All models configured with the Monetize response policy invoke that partner's monetization workflow.

To work with multiple partners, split your traffic across separate DataDome Workspaces and configure a different monetization partner in each workspace.

Partner Configuration

Prerequisites

  • You must be an active DataDome customer with the Admin access role in the Dashboard.
  • To activate a monetization partner, you must also have an active commercial relationship with that partner.

Activate a partner

In the DataDome Dashboard, with Admin access:

  1. Open Agentic Trust > Partners.
  2. Select the trust authority and monetization partners you want to activate.

Configure AI agent policies

Go to Agentic Trust > Access Control and configure the policies for your AI agent traffic:

  • Select the policies that apply to AI agents identified through trust authority partners. The trust authority partner appears as the provider in the Agents list.
  • Set the Monetize response policy for the relevant agents and traffic contexts to route eligible traffic to the partner's monetization workflow.
